UNISA – Long distance learning for a degree in Taxation
Ever thought about Open Distance Learning (ODL)? Want to get a taxation degree or post graduate diploma in Tax but have physical constraints in attending classes at a University? Then the UNISA Department of Taxation could be the answer for you.
What is ODL?
ODL is a different way of learning… there is a physical distance between you and your university. For most of us, this means that our previous learning experiences will not have prepared us for the UNISA study journey. In distance learning, YOU are responsible for your studies. You don’t attend daily lectures. You learn from a distance and you connect to the university mostly via the internet, with a community of online support.
Department of Taxation?
Offering various degrees and short learning programmes in taxation, the Department of Taxation focuses on catering for aspiring chartered accountants and allied professions at an undergraduate level (BCompt), while also offering service modules for a variety of other bachelor degree programmes offered by the university. We also offer a specialised undergraduate degree in Taxation (BCompt in Taxation), a Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation as well as tutored and research based master’s and doctoral degrees.
