Tax Students: Discuss taxes with your peers

Welcome to Tax Students! Connect and be informed about the tax law here in South Africa. To bring informative articles and helpful services for students, this site is backed by the leading local tax association, the South African Institute of Tax Professionals.

Share and study bite-sized tax lessons in the Notes section

Tax Students has a Notes section where you can read about short and informative tax lessons to serve as refreshers and help you prepare for exams. Here you will see our stock of past exam papers, lecturer presentations and student study notes from various universities and colleges.

The Notes section is divided per year: First Year, Second Year, Third Year and Fourth Year to help you easily navigate which notes you need to study first. Check it out by clicking the ‘Study Notes’ button at the upper right corner of your screen. If you have notes, presentations or exam papers you would like to share, feel free to talk to us about them through our contact page.

Receive helpful answers to your tax questions in the Q and A section

Are you too shy to ask something when your professors conclude their lectures by saying ‘are there any questions?’. Post your questions in the Tax Students Q and A section instead! Here, we and other tax students will answer your questions to help you keep up with the lectures and have a deeper knowledge about the lessons.

For those who would like to ask and answer tax questions, please register for an account here at Tax Students. The Q and A section can be accessed at the site’s dashboard.
